Attending NASA Space University was an incredible experience

Participating in the Space Center University program at NASA’s Space Center Houston—organized by Five-D Agency—was an unforgettable and transformative experience for me. The program not only deepened my interest in STEM but also broadened my understanding of how scientists and engineers work together to advance space exploration.

Throughout the week, we engaged in exciting hands-on activities such as rocket-building, designing simulated space habitats, and constructing end-effector rovers. These challenges pushed us to think critically, collaborate effectively, and apply creativity in solving real scientific problems. Touring iconic NASA facilities, including the Houston Mission Control Center and the Saturn V spacecraft hangar, made the history of space exploration come alive and sparked a sense of curiosity I will carry with me for years.

Our stay at Staybridge Suites Houston made the experience even better. The hotel was comfortable and well-equipped, offering spacious rooms, kitchenettes, free Wi-Fi, and a daily breakfast buffet. Its convenient location meant we had easy access to restaurants, malls, and stores whenever we needed to get food or essentials. Travel arrangements—from flights to airport transitions—were smooth and well-coordinated, which helped us focus entirely on learning and exploring.

What made the program truly special was the opportunity to meet and connect with students from different cultures and backgrounds. The collaborative projects and group activities helped us build friendships and appreciate diverse perspectives. I left the program with new skills, lasting memories, and a stronger passion for astronomy and STEM.
